I am a psychotherapist, Somatic Experiencing practitioner, and counsellor based in Pune, India.

My aim is to offer people from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds a space to pause, be heard, and listen to their body. You may be navigating anxiety, stress, a low mood, history of trauma, grief, life transitions, or a quiet sense of overwhelm that is hard to name.

I believe the patterns shaped by our experiences are not problems to fix. They are stories to be understood. This is a space to notice those patterns and gently work through them.

Beyond the therapy room, I am passionate about travel and trekking. My connection with mountains, culture, ancestry and women’s journeys continues to shape my approach.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Beyond Echoes?

Beyond Echoes is a therapy space that offers a body-based and depth-oriented approach to healing. My work is informed by Somatic Experiencing, Bodynamic, Process-Oriented Psychology, yoga and depth psychology.

This approach is not about quick fixes. It is about understanding patterns, restoring ways to regulate your nervous system and building a deeper relationship with yourself.

Who does this therapy approach work best for?

This therapy approach may be meaningful if you are experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, developmental or complex trauma, grief, relationship issues, identity questions, life transitions, or feel disconnected from your body or inner life. It is suitable for those who want to work slowly and by focusing on their nervous system.

How is body-based therapy different from talk therapy?

Body-based therapy includes conversation, but also pays close attention to sensations, emotions, impulses and patterns shaped by the nervous system. The body often holds experiences that words alone cannot access. Working with the body helps build regulation, safety and integration rather than only intellectual insight.

Will the sessions involve physical movements or touch?

Sessions may include small movements, breath awareness, posture exploration or noticing sensations. There is no physical touch as the sessions are online. Regulation practices involving self-touch may be a part of some sessions. Every movement requires your consent and will happen at a pace that feels safe.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. All sessions are confidential and within ethical and legal limits.

Is this approach suitable for trauma survivors and early life challenges?

Yes. A significant part of my work deals with trauma, including developmental and complex challenges, early relational wounds and experiences that may not have been fully processed at the time they occurred.

Your nervous system and what you feel is manageable in the present alone will guide the pace of our sessions.

Someone may be asked how they are doing and immediately respond with “I am fine,” while their body says otherwise. The other person senses this and asks, “Are you sure?”

Our Nervous System in Daily Life

Our nervous system is not something that appears only in moments of stress or crisis. It is present in the smallest movements of daily life, in the way we breathe, respond, pause and connect. This reflection explores how the nervous system shapes everyday experience and how gentle awareness can gradually support greater steadiness in the body and mind.
